Calling all stylish women!

OK girls. I am getting to the point where I am going to have to make some changes in my wardrobe options. Most of you know how hard it is to feel attractive when you are squeezing your curvy body into clothes that are either too tight or look like a tent! So, I am asking for your wisdom! Tell me what worked for you! How did you look stylish when you were pregnant? Comfort has to be #1...we all know how miserable it is to feel like you can't breathe all day and by the time you get home you just want to strip and throw on a huge t-shirt!
Better yet, if anyone has any great maternity clothes that are not currently in use and you wouldn't mind lending out, I'll come take a look and see if anything fits me!
Thanks ladies! And please don't hesitate to leave a comment on this post, and/or pass it along to your stylish friends so they can advise me!

Craft in Forward!

The first three people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2- What I create will be just for you.
3- It'll be done this year.
4- You have no clue what it's going to be.
5- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.
The catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 3 people who do the same on your blog. The first 3 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!
Who's in?

Kindergarten lunch

I pick up Haily from the bus today at 12:30 and drive her home. We walk in the door and I ask, "What sounds good for lunch today?" I expected the usual... something along the lines of Dino nuggets, grilled cheese, tomato soup, or the like. Instead I get this answer: "Salmon."
Luckily we have a bunch of frozen fillets in our freezer and I pulled one out and microwaved it for her. AND SHE ATE IT! Interesting girl. She also loves tomatoes, crab, and she'll take fruit over candy almost every time. Wish I had her tastes.

Valentine's Day

This year, I got the best gift ever...a quiet weekend alone. I know that sounds weird but it's just what I needed. The quiet, rest, and lots of uninterrupted movies on the couch is really giving me a boost to get through these last few (I hope) weeks of miserable sickness.

One thing I've learned for sure is that absence makes the heart grow fonder! I've cried at least once a day because I miss my family so much. So here is my heartfelt Valentine's days tribute to them.
PAIGE! Since the day I knew you were coming I was so in love. You were the most beautiful baby I'd ever seen from the moment I laid eyes on you. Strangers everywhere we went would comment on how beautiful you were. I am so proud of the way you have grown. You have a real curiosity about the world and you are so smart. You are the best big sister and a great help to me. You are so sweet and tender. I love your laugh and your sparkling eyes. I LOVE YOU!
HAILY! Even before you were born I could sense that you were so very sweet. You were and still are my little snuggler. You are such a happy girl. You love to make people laugh. You are a wonderful little friend for Charlie. He loves to play with you. You are so much fun to be with, you brighten up every room. Your voice still melts my heart! You are growing up so fast and I am so proud of you! You are so smart and so laid back. You bring me more joy than you'll ever know. I LOVE YOU!!
CHARLIE! My only son! You make me feel adored like no one else does. Ever since you were a baby you've been my little boyfriend. I didn't realize how much I would love having a boy. You make me laugh everyday. I'm so glad we get to spend so much time together, just you and me, while your sisters are at school. You are so sweet, so smart, so funny, and unique. Your personality and demeanor could not be more lovable. You are so easy to take care of. I LOVE YOU!!
JON! Thank you so much for giving me this time. It was a true gift of selflessness. I know it's not the way you would have preferred to spend Valentine's Day and that sacrifice means so much. You have always supported me in anything I wanted to pursue. From the time I met you, you have always been easy to talk to and you've always make me laugh. I admire and am so grateful for your hard work. Your skill, drive, and ability have made it possible for me to live my greatest desire, to be a full time mom. You are a warrior fighting many battles and that makes you a hero to me. I am so thankful to know that we will be growing, learning, progressing, and loving together forever. Thank you for giving me my three (almost 4) other Valentines. I LOVE YOU!!

Aveda, My Valentine

I can't express how much I LOVE Aveda. I don't buy it often enough, it's a bit pricey. When it comes to hair, and most beauty products in general, I'm a Wal-Mart shopper. Aussie Sprunch Spray, Suave mousse, and the green and pink mascara seem to do the trick. But once in a while, a girl needs to splurge. And these days, I felt a needed a lift! So I ordered my favorite shampoo and conditioner. It came in the mail yesterday and I am enjoying it today!
Once in a while, I get a whiff of my hair and it makes me so happy! It reminds me of my college girlfriends, especially Kenia Ann and the salon Kakoi!
If you are ever stumped trying to think of a good gift for me for any occasion, go to the Aveda store or website and pick anything! It automatically makes me feel spa pampered right at home every day!

And P.S. I'm craving strawberries these days.

BUGGED!

I was tagged by my SIL Joc to make a list of 10 things that BUG me. So here goes, and I tag anyone reading this!

1. loud eating

2. chaos

3. Chronic lateness (once in a while I can handle...but not EVERY time!)

4. inappropriate competitiveness. (there's a time and a place, and it's not at a casual family gathering, for example)

5. ignorance (particularly when someone is talking about something like they are an expert and they have no idea what they are talking about.)

6. ingratitude

7. sense of entitlement

8. bad manners regarding bodily functions (burping, spitting, public gas passing...)

9. Sports talk shows because they talk about, analyze, re-hash, discuss...on and on and on about NONSENSE! It's a game!

10. Disrespect.
