Soccer, Sprouts, and Shimmies

The girls played on a soccer team together this spring. Jon was able to help coach them to a 6-1 season! White Lightening's only loss was against an undefeated team who had been playing together for 3 years. They lost 2-1. That "1" was scored by Paige, and was the only goal EVER to be scored on that team!

We also recently planted the garden! We had to wait a little longer this year because we had snow up until the end of May!

We chose to plant peas, corn, lettuce (romaine and mixed), pumpkin, cantaloupe, tomatoes, and bell peppers (red and green).

Each child also picked out a packet of flower seeds which they planted in their own little areas. I can't wait for them to come up!

The school put on a dance festival in which each grade performed a dance representing a certain decade within the last 50 years. Then the whole school did Party in the USA together. It was so cute!

Haily's grade did the Twist!

Haily is the one with the pink baseball cap on.

And Paige's did Achy Breaky Heart.

  1. My, my, my . . . your girls look like they are having so much fun playing ball on the same team together and dancing. Paige and Haily have the moves! Your garden looks like it is coming together even though you've had a late season. I'll be taking a picture of our garden and put it on the blog in the next week of so. Cute family!
